Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.

    • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients. Mix until combined.

    • Pour batter into a greased and floured pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

  2. Make the Frosting:
    • Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Adjust consistency with milk.
