Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb langostino (peeled and deveined)
- 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups broth (chicken or vegetable)
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt, pepper, and herbs (thyme, parsley, or dill)
Instructions
- Sauté onion and garlic in butter until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Stir in langostino and cook until pink.
- Sprinkle flour, mix well, and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add broth, stirring to avoid lumps. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Lower heat, stir in sour cream, and season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
Notes
- Substitute langostino with shrimp or lobster if unavailable.
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze without sour cream.
- Reheat gently to avoid curdling. Enjoy!
